April 22 is Earth Day, and we are celebrating! Our natural environment is everything to us at Massanutten. We have tons of nature-oriented activities that you can participate in while visiting, or you can explore our trails on self-guided hikes. However you do it - we thank you for celebrating Earth Day with us!

We are lucky to be neighbors with Shenandaoh National Park (just 10 miles down the road!). While you are staying at Massanutten Resort, we encourage you to explore the wilderness that the national park has to offer. Tips to keep in mind this Earth Day:

  • When spending time in nature, leave no trace!
  • Stay on trails as much as possible when hiking to avoid disrupting the ecosystems.
  • Do not feed or try to pet the wildlife!
  • Turn off lights in rooms that are not being used.
  • Eat & shop local when you can!
  • Avoid plastic and single use products.
