NSAA Climate Challenge

Alongside 35 other ski areas, we participate in the National Ski Area Association (NSAA) Climate Challenge. Through this program, we inventory and track our carbon emissions, and are given guidance with not only reducing our harmful emissions, but also participate in advocacy to use our voice in the larger environmental conversation- all working towards our larger sustainability goals.  Over the 11 years that NSAA has been doing the Climate Challenge, over 126,629 MTCO2e of GHGs have been reduced! 2023 is Massanutten Resort’s third year participating.

We have set a goal of reducing out 2021 carbon emissions 15% by 2025.
