  • Temperature: Below 72 degrees for an extending amount of time.

Cabanas at Massanutten Outdoor WaterPark

Cabanas season is back for Summer 2024! Cabana rentals are available at the Outdoor WaterPark starting May 25.

Splash’s Premium Outdoor Cabana | Up to Eight People | $295
Hang out in style in one of our Premium Cabanas! There’s lots of room for your friends or family as each Premium Cabana is 12'x12' with a ceiling fan and a 5'x10' space in front of the cabana. Premium Cabanas are equipped with two lounge chairs, a five-piece modular couch, two deep seating chairs, coffee table, low profile table, ceiling fan, electric service, and coolers to keep your beverages cold. Rental also includes 16 bottles of water, four WaterPark towels, a WaterPark logo tote bag, $50 Diamond Jim’s Arcade card, and service from our friendly cabana hosts. There is a maximum number of eight guests per cabana.

Deluxe Outdoor Cabana | Up to Six People | $245
Escape the sun and relax in one of our newly updated Deluxe Cabanas! Each deluxe cabana is 10'x10' with a ceiling fan and a 5'x10' space in front of the cabana. Deluxe Cabanas are equipped with two lounge chairs, two deep seating chairs, a deep seating loveseat, coffee table, ceiling fan, electric service, and cooler to keep your beverages cold. Rental also includes 12 bottles of water, three WaterPark towels, a WaterPark logo tote bag, $30 Diamond Jim’s Arcade card, and service from our friendly cabana hosts. There is a maximum number of six guests per cabana.

Standard Outdoor Cabana | Up to Six People | $195
The cabanas are open, and that means it is time to lounge in the sun or shade! Each standard cabana is 10'x10' with a ceiling fan and a 5'x10' space in front of the cabana. Standard Cabanas are equipped with two lounge chairs, four dining chair, three low profile tables, ceiling fan, electric service, and cooler to keep your beverages cold. Rental also includes six bottles of water, two WaterPark towels, a WaterPark logo tote bag, and service from our friendly cabana hosts. There is a maximum number of six guests per cabana.

NEW! Two-Person Cabana | Up to Two People | $100
Make one of our new two-person cabanas your private oasis at the WaterPark this summer! Cabanas are equipped with two lounge chairs, and cooler to keep your beverages cold. Rental also includes four bottles of water, two WaterPark towels, a WaterPark logo tote bag, and service from our friendly cabana hosts. There is a maximum number of two guests per cabana.

*Cabana rentals are a daily rental and available the same hours as the outdoor WaterPark. WaterPark admission is not included.

The Chill Grill

The Chill Grill is closed for the season.

It's like a big neighborhood cookout and it is the perfect spot to take a break from all the action of the WaterPark! Located at the Outdoor WaterPark, the Chill Grill offers hot-off-the-grill food such as hot dogs, hamburgers, sandwiches, salads, plus refreshing sodas, wine, beer, and frozen cocktails. Located at the Outdoor WaterPark. WaterPark admission required.

Chill Grill Slideside

The Chill Grill Slideside is closed for the season.

In between the new outdoor slides and the wave pool, the Chill Grill Slideside offers an umbrella and poolside favorites, including bratwursts, burgers, salads, and sandwiches plus refreshing sodas, wine, beer, and frozen cocktails. An awesome place to enjoy lunch and a cool beverage as you take in the action all around you! Located at the Outdoor WaterPark. WaterPark admission required.

WaterPark FAQs

Towels are not provided at the WaterPark, though you may bring your own. Massanutten WaterPark towels are available for purchase at MerchanDice Surf Shop.

Yes, as long as you keep your wristband on, you can come and go as you please. The wrist bands are color coded for one day use only.

Unfortunately, outside coolers, food or drink are not permitted in the WaterPark building. However there are many dining options inside the WaterPark and on the Resort for your enjoyment. For more information visit our Dining section.

Swim diapers are required for all children who are not toilet-trained. Swim diapers are available for purchase at MerchanDice Surf Shop.

There are height restrictions set forth by the ride's manufacturers.

The Country Cooler, Melting Mogul, Peak Splash, Skyline Falls and Avalanche slides have a minimum height requirement of 42" tall to ride.

The PipeLine (FlowRider) has a minimum height requirement of 42" tall to ride bodyboard style and 52" tall to ride stand-up (A lesson taken at Massanutten WaterPark is also required before riding stand-up).

Massanutten WaterPark's aquatic floor maintains the air temperature at 84 degrees with the water temperature between 80 - 82 degrees. Our transparent Texlon roof allows the UV rays in the building, so you may feel a slight difference in temperature throughout the day.

Yes, Massanutten WaterPark has certified lifeguards working to provide you and your family a safe and fun environment.

Yes, lockers are available in the indoor portion of the WaterPark for $30 rental fee for the day. Receive a $15 arcade card or $10 cash back when the key is returned. The locker size is 12" x 15" x 18".

Yes, men's and women's changing and shower facilities are available. Family changing facilities are also available.

Life vests for small children are available. You may bring your own life vest if it is well fitting and U.S. Coast Guard approved. 

Massanutten WaterPark is a family destination requiring appropriate swimming attire for everyone. Please ensure there are no snaps, rivets or metal zippers to prevent injury and damage to the slide.

Yes. Massanutten WaterPark offers complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the building.

Yes, we are currently accepting bookings for groups and parties. Groups & parties must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance. View groups & parties info here.

  • Please obey the Lifeguards & Attendants at all times.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse admittance to or to suspend privileges of any persons failing to comply with any rules.
  • People under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed in the WaterPark.
  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult who will directly supervise them during the entire visit.
  • Guests with children under the age of 5 must be within arm’s reach of the child at all times.
  • Additional rules are posted at each attraction.
  • People with infectious diseases, communicable diseases, or open sores are prohibited from using the WaterPark.
  • All guests are required to shower before entering the water.
  • All diaper-dependent guests must wear an approved swim diaper.
  • Proper swimwear is required. Exposed metal and loose strings are not permitted.
  • Only U.S. Coast Guard-approved floatation devices are permitted.
  • Lifejackets are provided at no additional charge on a first-come, first-served basis and must remain in the WaterPark.
  • No running, pushing, rough play, or shoulder riding in the pool areas.
  • Lockers are available and we encourage their use. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damage property.
  • Please leave rafts, balls, chairs, and all toys in your car.
  • We may close during inclement weather.
  • The WaterPark maintains a Non-Smoking environment.
  • No outside food or drink is permitted.
  • There is video surveillance at this facility.
  • Massanutten WaterPark is an aquatic environment. Be prepared to get WET!
