Warm-Ups from VAHS // RACE 3, Saturday, April 28, 2018 on the Western Slope in Keezletown, Virginia. The course was set on the South-West side of the trail network. It began with an uphill 1.5-mile prologue on an open gravel road and grassy double-track. It then looped back past the start/finish and headed to the south-west side of the mountain. From there, riders climbed a gravel road and entered technical singletrack. Riders then descended to flowing berms before entering the finishing chute. For the first time since 1999, Massanutten held a Saturday Dual Slalom event after practice for the Downhill Southeast Series Stop #2.
